Laser welding surface remedial

Laser welding can be used to repair and renewal of press forms, shafts, different machinery parts, tools and accessories by remedial such faults as chips, pores, cracks, scratches.

Who can laser fix metal surface faults?

Laser creates melted material area on the surface where also extender powder is injected. In result there is welded surface created to replace worn part structure and improve its wear resistance feature.  

«CITRIN-SERVICE» applies extra thickness of material to worn part during repair and then perfrom CNC machning to original dimensions.

Sometimes there is no drawing and original part dimensions available, so reverse engineering method shall be applied to find initial state of part or unit. At present we have accumulated own database of industrial drawings.

Such laser-made surface can not just recover initial features to the repaired part, but also improve some of them and adjust it to certain conditions. Laser is most advanced option to apply surface layers of superior quality.Content of additive powder may increase wear resistance (creates cladding of 35...65 HRC), corrosion resistance, temperature resistance. Moreover these features might be combined or modified depends on customer specification.
